Who we are
Stephen Burke
Stephen is a business manager with more than 30 years experience managing issues, teams and resources. He focuses on executing plans and likes to ‘make things happen’ in complex service environments.
He has project skills across Human Resources, Operations, Premises, Finance, Business Development and Information Technology which have been obtained in public and private healthcare organisations as well as in a number of legal practices.
Stephen’s key strengths include his ability to turn theory and strategy into action; implement change and work with people and systems to achieve results.
He is a presenter to the new partners courses conducted by the College of Law, lectures in business management at university and serves as Secretary on the Management Committee of QL – an organisation focused on promotion and education about quality standards in legal practice.
Outside of work, Steve is committed to rowing at the Masters level where he has competed successfully in national titles. He is also sings with the Sydney Philharmonia Choir Festival Chorus – although at the requests of his colleagues he rarely attempts to combine these hobbies.

Charles Biscoe
Charles enjoyed a long and successful career in the Navy, before retiring as Director of Joint Operations for the Australian Defence Force in the late 1990s and entering the corporate world. Since then he has carved a successful career in legal practice management and has guided the affairs of three mid tier practices.
Charles has extensive, high level experience in strategic planning, operations management and implementing business systems. His background has given him very detailed experience in implementing effective HR strategies in both the public and private sectors as well as an in depth knowledge of managing large IT projects. He has served on the Quality in Law Boards at both state and national level and continues to consult in this area.
Charles is an accredited Mediator with the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators and a Conflict Coach with LEADR. He is a member of the Department of Defence ADR panel in NSW.
When not engaged on business, Charles can be found driving his sons to various sports fixtures around Sydney or working on his escalating golf handicap.
